About Lisa

Lisa Whitlow

Lisa Whitlow, M.A., D.Min., lives and works in the Kansas City area. She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Doctor of Ministry Degree. She has been a Jungian psychotherapist for over fifteen years, seeing adults and children. Her current work is that of a spiritual mentor, teacher, and retreat leader. Her personal religious background is Christian (Episcopalian), and she also finds the Buddhist tradition immensely helpful in her work and in her personal life.


Lisa has received specialized training in expressive arts therapies, dream work, guided imagery and meditation, hypnotherapy, energy therapy and Jungian psychology. She has facilitated retreats and workshops in Texas, Idaho, Arizona, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Missouri and Kansas. She is an emeritus member of the Board of the Kansas City Friends of Jung, and teaches classes for them on a regular basis.


She is a member of Spiritual Directors International, the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology, and the Global Association for Interpersonal Neurobiological Studies.
